At Glover’s Trust, you can enjoy the comfort and independence of your own self-contained cottage, with the peace of mind that support is always close at hand. A caring scheme manager is on site every weekday, and an emergency alarm service is available at all times, so help is there whenever you need it. All maintenance and repairs are taken care of, leaving you free to relax and enjoy your home.
Life at Glover’s Trust is friendly and flexible. You can spend time on your own when you wish, or enjoy the company of others whenever it suits you. Our residents’ lounge is a welcoming space for weekly coffee mornings, offering a chance to socialise and chat with neighbours, and occasionally meet a visiting trustee.
Services Provided
At Glover’s Trust, residents pay a weekly maintenance contribution and service charge to live in their cottage. This is similar to rent, but is different in law. Payments are made monthly in advance, and some residents may be able to receive help with the cost through Housing Benefit.
This contribution is designed to give you confidence and peace of mind, as it covers many of the essential services needed to look after your home and surroundings. It includes access to the emergency alarm service, as well as:

To keep things clear and simple, there are a few everyday household costs that residents pay for separately:
